TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The India-Taipei Association co-hosted the India-Taiwan Investment Partnership Forum along with Taiwan’s Department of Investment Promotion and Industrial Technology Research Institute on Wednesday.
In his keynote speech, Manharsinh Yadav, director general of the India-Taipei Association, highlighted the investment opportunities in India and gave an in-depth analysis of the rapid economic growth and transformation of the country, according to ITA. Yadav pointed out that the visiting Indian delegation is the largest group of state governments to ever visit Taiwan.
Representatives from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka introduced their states’ potential and strengths and provided investment information.
Emile MP Chang (張銘斌), director general of the Department of Investment Promotion, said that India is an advantageous option for Taiwanese businesses. He pointed to India's large domestic market, abundant labor force, and rich resources, along with multiple government incentive programs such as the Electronics Component Manufacturing Subsidy Program.
The forum demonstrates India's strong commitment to attracting foreign investment and vigorously promoting the opportune moment to invest in India's Golden Decade, ITA said.
