TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) landed in Taipei on Friday ahead of his keynote at Taipei’s Computex next week.
Touching down at Taipei Songshan Airport after a nine-hour flight from Abu Dhabi, Huang appeared in his signature black outfit, greeting the media despite a fatigued look, per CNA. He joked about the heat and needing a haircut before heading straight to a salon on Qingcheng Street in Songshan District.
He said his trip to the Middle East had delivered meaningful results, as demand for AI infrastructure continues to surge worldwide. Regarding Nvidia’s Taiwan headquarters, Huang played coy, saying he would let everyone know on Monday.
Huang explained that he would showcase Nvidia’s latest technologies and ecosystem at Computex, calling Taiwan the center of the global AI industry, per Liberty Times. His keynote is expected to include major announcements tied to product and regional expansion.
Huang also revealed he will be dining Friday night with TSMC Chair C.C. Wei (魏哲家), though he kept the restaurant under wraps.
