TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) could arrive as early as Tuesday to conduct meetings with supply chain partners before his Computex keynote speech on May 19, per UDN.
Huang’s itinerary reportedly includes a meeting with TSMC on Thursday, followed by a banquet for suppliers on Saturday. Huang's highly anticipated Computex keynote address will be held at the 5,000-seat concert hall at the Taipei Music Center.
Huang has attracted sold-out crowds at every speech. Huang’s speeches are also the focus of the global technology community and international media.
In recent years, Huang has championed AI in robotics and the need for supercomputer data centers. The widespread use of AI has also spread to traditional industries such as Formosa Plastics, with government officials also paying attention to potential future applications in governance.
The Taiwan External Trade Development Council, organizer of Computex, announced in March that Huang would deliver the opening keynote speech. Huang’s speech will focus on the latest advancements and breakthroughs in AI and accelerated computing, with the event livestreamed on the Computex website.
In recent years, Taiwan's ecosystem has attracted outside attention as a key player in the development of AI. According to TAITRA, Huang will also attend a question-and-answer session with global media organized by Computex on May 21.
