TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Foxconn posted Monday that its consolidated revenue for April reached a record NT$641.37 billion (US$21.39 billion), marking a 16.16% increase from March and a 25.54% year-on-year increase.
Foxconn said its AI cloud product shipments surged significantly in April compared to March, bolstering overall revenue, per CNA. Consumer smart products experienced a monthly increase while computer terminal products remained stable.
Year-over-year, the company’s growth was mainly fueled by increased shipments of AI cloud products and related components, as well as higher demand for computer terminal products. Consumer smart product sales remained steady compared to last year.
Industry analysts explained that Foxconn’s April revenue growth was largely supported by shipments related to Nvidia’s AI chips and the GB200 platform, including server components such as GPU modules, substrates, and full system assembly.
Foxconn’s cumulative revenue for the first four months this year totaled NT$2.28 trillion, up 24.58% from the same period last year, setting a new high for the period.
Looking ahead to Q2, Foxconn expects continued growth in cloud network products despite the traditional seasonal slowdown. The company forecasts quarterly and annual revenue increases in Q2 but remains cautious about political and economic uncertainties.
