TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Chuang Pei-yu (莊蓓瑜) was named as head of Intel Taiwan on Monday.
Intel Asia Pacific and Japan Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Communications Tsang Ping-han (莊秉翰) said Chuang will lead the Taiwan team in driving product development, expanding business opportunities, and enhancing customer service, per CNA. Her appointment takes effect tomorrow.
Tsang added that Taiwan remains a key strategic hub in the global semiconductor supply chain and the evolving AI ecosystem. He stressed Intel’s commitment to innovation and collaboration with ecosystem partners.
Previously, Chuang led Intel’s global team for Asus, where she was credited with expanding company ties with the manufacturer. Her leadership helped solidify Intel’s role within Taiwan’s computing hardware sector.
Since joining Intel Taiwan in 2003, Chuang has held roles in marketing and partner engagement, per UDN. She also served as notebook platform marketing manager for the Asia Pacific and Japan region, working with original equipment manufacturers.
Chuang holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and communications from Boston’s Emerson College. Her background spans hardware and software engineering, marketing strategy, and business development.
