TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Hotai Motor said that it will hold a recruitment event at National Taiwan University on Saturday.
The recruitment drive is set to cover nearly 20 positions in information technology, marketing, planning, and other fields. Starting salaries are NT$44,000 (US$1,396) for bachelor's degree holders and NT$50,000 for master's degree holders per CNA.
Hotai Motor said the average annual salary for its non-supervisory employees was NT$2.63 million in 2023. Employees also receive annual salary adjustments, a NT$50,000 travel allowance, and a three-month year-end bonus, among other benefits.
Recruitment events will also be held at other universities in March. The company will continue its "Hotai star" internship program, recruiting 16 university or graduate students as interns this summer at a monthly salary of NT$36,000. It also offers a pre-employment training program, recruiting long-term interns for three days a week at NT$250 an hour.
Hotai Motor, the distributor for Toyota, Lexus, Hino, and Yokohama Tire in Taiwan, achieved record revenues of more than NT$275.7 billion last year.
Toyota and Lexus held 46.6% of Taiwan's car market share in January. Toyota sold 12,760 vehicles, up 3.9% from the same period last year. Lexus sold 3,591 vehicles, a 16.7% increase.
