TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Software-as-a-service provider Appier announced Friday that it expects strong growth in Q2 following its acquisition of French startup AdCreative.ai.
The company announced the US$38.7 million (NT$1.2 billion) deal on Wednesday, marking its fifth major acquisition. Appier said the move will strengthen its generative AI solutions and improve cost efficiency.
At a media briefing, Appier CEO and co-founder Yu Chih-han (游直翰) said the company achieved a record-high revenue of US$224 million in 2024, reflecting a 29% year-over-year increase, per CNA. Revenue for 2025 is projected to reach US$300 million (NT$9.8 billion), up 34%.
Yu highlighted the benefits of acquiring AdCreative.ai, which collects extensive advertising data and leverages AI to rapidly generate ad materials and videos for Western brands.
He added that the two companies have highly complementary datasets, and AdCreative.ai’s established client base in Europe and North America—including Philips and BNP Paribas—presents a significant opportunity for Appier to expand in these regions.
Appier is also integrating AI into its internal workflows to enhance efficiency, with some software development tasks now being handled by AI. The company aims to surpass US$461 million in revenue by 2027, with net profits projected to reach between US$46.1 million and US$59.3 million.
