TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Taiwan Excellence Drone International Business Opportunities Alliance will participate in “Xponential Europe,” held in Germany from Tuesday to Thursday.
Xponential Europe is an event focused on autonomous systems, autonomous mobility, AI, and robotics. Exhibiting companies are expected to showcase their innovative technologies in those fields.
Hu Kai-hung (胡開宏), chair of TEDIBOA and the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation, will lead representatives from the Industrial Development Administration, the Industrial Technology Research Institute, and 25 drone manufacturers to Germany on Saturday, per CNA.
TEDIBOA said Taiwan will showcase technologies such as anti-drone systems, communication equipment, flight control chips, and drone payloads at the event. The exhibition will also highlight Taiwan's position in the global drone market.
The event will foster closer collaboration between Taiwan's drone industry and international partners, aiming to secure more overseas orders.
TEDIBOA said the event, previously held in the US, will be hosted in Europe for the first time this year. It is expected to attract more than 500 companies and professionals from around the world.
TEDIBOA pledged to lead local manufacturers in participating in other international drone exhibitions.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs has consistently supported the development of Taiwan's drone industry. It also helps local manufacturers expand into international markets and build drone supply chains that align with market demands.
The ministry established TEDIBOA in September. Along with helping domestic drone companies expand, the alliance will integrate resources and promote technological collaboration to boost the competitiveness of Taiwan's drone sector.
