TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A Hi-Life customer who spent NT$35 (US$1.06) on a drink won the NT$10 million (US$304,000) Special Prize in the November-December edition of the Taiwan receipt lottery.
The winning number for the Special Prize was 13965913, the winning number for the NT$2 million Grand Prize was 29892710, and the three winning numbers for the First Prize were 26649927, 59565539, and 11460822. On Thursday, the Ministry of Finance announced 18 Special Prize winners and 15 Grand Prize winners in the receipt lottery's latest round.
The lucky customer who spent the least and won the most was an individual who bought a beverage for NT$35 at a Hi-Life on Minzu Road in Taoyuan's Yangmei District. Another lucky winner spent NT$45 on a heat-resistant plastic bag at a department store also in Yangmei District.
The Special Prize winner with the largest expenditure spent NT$16,120 on religious items at a shop on Gongguan Road in Changhua County's Tianzhong Township.
As for the 15 grand prize winners, the lowest receipt was NT$45 for a beverage at a FamilyMart on Liancheng Road in New Taipei's Zhonghe District, while the highest was NT$500 for gasoline at CPC gas station on Nanxiang Road in Nantou County's Nantou City.
The Taxation Administration reminded the public that the prize redemption period for the November-December 2024 receipt lottery runs from Feb. 6 to May 5, 2025.
