TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Starlux Airlines on Wednesday announced two new routes between Taiwan and Kobe, Japan.
To capitalize on Kobe’s host city status for the 2025 World Expo, Starlux has launched a Taipei-Kobe and Taichung-Kobe route beginning on April 18, CNA reported. The plan also coincides with the opening of Kobe Airport’s international terminal.
The Taipei route will have three flights a week, while the Taichung route will have seven flights a week. Both will be flown using A321neo aircraft.
To celebrate the opening of Kobe Airport’s international terminal, Starlux has scheduled an additional round-trip flight on April 18, allowing passengers to witness the historic moment. Tickets for these three routes are available starting Wednesday.
Kobe is a key hub connecting Japan’s Kansai region to the rest of the world. The city is known for its desserts, per CNA. The surrounding area also offers diverse attractions, such as Arima Onsen and Awaji Island.
