TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Quanta Computer Chair Barry Lam (林百里) said Thursday the company will produce AI supercomputers this year.

At the electronics manufacturer’s year-end dinner, Lam thanked employees for their hard work last year, per CNA. With over 10,000 employees in attendance, he remarked that this year is set to be a year of rapid growth, per Liberty Times.

Lam explained that Quanta has been developing AI since 2016. He hoped employees would be more motivated and innovative this year.

Quanta Computing Vice Chair C. C. Leung (梁次震) said there are many uncertainties this year. He urged employees to always look forward and work together.

“As Quanta employees, we are not willing to be left behind,” he added.
