TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwanese tech company Inpaq’s spokesperson, Huang Kuo-shu (黃國書), announced on Monday that the company plans to expand its production of satellite, AI server, and drone components next year.
Speaking at a press conference, Huang expressed optimism about the growth of AI computers and low-earth orbit satellites, according to the CNA. He also predicted an increase in demand for high-frequency inductors and antennas.
Wi-Fi 7 products are expected to scale up in the second half of next year, while satellite antenna components are scheduled for delivery by mid-2024, Huang said.
Inpaq Chair Chen Pei-jen (陳培真) stated that the company’s new plant in Malaysia is projected to boost production capacity by mid-2024. He added that Inpaq aims to expand its market presence to Europe, the United States, and Southeast Asia.
Industry analysts noted that mobile phone applications represent Inpaq’s largest shipment category, with an estimated 33% of global mobile phones using the company’s inductor components.
