TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A cold air mass will bring cooler temperatures from Friday to Monday, with northern regions expected to drop below 11 C, the Central Weather Administration said.
The administration predicted the cold wave would peak Sunday morning, with temperatures ranging from 11 to 13 C in the north and 14 to 15 C in the south, per CNA.
Rain is expected in northern Taiwan on Friday, gradually diminishing from Saturday to Monday. The southern part of the country will be cloudy.
The cold front will weaken on Tuesday. A new cold air mass may arrive after Dec. 20.
