TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A northeast monsoon will bring rain and cooler temperatures to northern and northeastern Taiwan from Wednesday (Dec. 4) through Friday, the Central Weather Administration said.
Highs will be 20 to 25 C in the north and northeast, while the south and central regions will see highs of 26 to 28 C, according to CNA. Nighttime temperatures across Taiwan will range from 16 to 20 C.
Another cold wave will affect Taiwan starting Saturday, with colder days on Sunday and Monday. Northern Taiwan, Yilan, and Hualien will experience lows of 14 to 16 C and highs of 17 to 18 C.
The rest of the country will see lows of 16 to 18 C. Temperatures will gradually rise starting next Tuesday as the front weakens.
