TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Apple’s new M4 devices have passed type certification and will be available in Taiwan in the coming weeks, the National Communications Commission (NCC) said Thursday (Nov. 28).
Apple’s new all-in-one iMac, equipped with the M4 chip, boasts 2.1 times faster photo editing and gaming processing speed then the M1 models, per CNA. Prices start at NT$44,900 (US$1,378) and come in seven colors.
Announced on Oct. 29, the M4 Mac mini computer measures 12.7 cm, less than half the size of previous designs. It’s Apple’s first carbon-neutral Mac and starts at NT$19,900.
The M4 MacBook Pro offers a nano-texture display option that reduces glare and is equipped with a 24-hour battery. Prices start at NT$54,900.
