TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The 59th annual Golden Bell Awards Ceremony was held in Taipei at the Taipei Music Center on Saturday (Oct. 19), hosted by Jack Yao (姚淳耀). 

Stars began arriving on the red carpet outside the venue at 5 p.m. on Saturday, where they were greeted by reporter Yang Hsiao-li (楊小黎). The ceremony kicked off at 7 p.m. with welcoming remarks from Yao, who is himself a Golden Bell winner for best actor and best presenter.  

Two dramas expected to win big were the legal drama “Port of Lies,” which received nominations in 16 different categories, and the mini-series “Imperfect Us,” which received 13.
