TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The 2024 WBSC Premier 12 international baseball tournament is set to begin in November, with matches set to be staged in Taiwan, Japan, and Mexico.
Ahead of the tournament, Taiwan has invited the Czech national team to play two friendly exhibition games at Taiwan’s newly finished Taipei Dome on Nov. 2 and Nov 3. In anticipation of this exciting event for both teams as well as the public, a limited edition “Team Taiwan” jersey and related merchandise was unveiled this week, with online preorders opening on Saturday (Oct. 19).
The jerseys and related merchandise are being produced by the FansFans Company, and will be on sale the weekend of the games at special pop-up shops located around Taipei Dome, and at the nearby Songshan Creative and Cultural Park, reported UDN. In addition to the stylish jerseys, there line of commemorative gear also includes baseball caps, t-shirts, baseballs, cheerleader kits, bar towels, stickers, pins, and other limited-edition items.
For those who place pre-orders online, the company will begin filling orders and delivering their products sometime in mid-November. After the Czech-Taiwan games, the pop-up shop and Team Taiwan exhibit at the Songshan Creative and Cultural Park will be open through Nov. 24.
But for those hoping to get their hands on the jerseys prior to the Czech-Taiwan match, FanFans is cooperating exclusively with 7-Eleven. Limited amounts of jerseys and other “Team Taiwan” gear will go on sale at select 7-Eleven even stores throughout Taiwan starting on Oct. 30, but supplies will be limited.
