TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Foxconn said Saturday (Oct. 5) that its revenue was NT$733 billion (US$22.7 billion) in September, the second-highest level for the same period in the company’s history.
According to a press release, Foxconn’s revenue reached NT$1.85 trillion in Q3, setting a new high for the same period.
Foxconn said the strong revenue growth was due to the release of new products, with the consumer smart products segment showing the strongest growth compared to August, per CNA. Cloud network products and other segments also saw significant growth compared to August.
Compared to the same period last year, Foxconn said the cloud network products segment benefited from strong demand for AI cloud products, achieving the strongest year-on-year growth in September. Computer components also saw significant year-on-year growth.
Foxconn, which is scheduled to hold its Q3 investors conference on Nov. 14, said the second half of the year is the traditional peak season for the information and communications technology (ICT) industry, and operations are expected to heat up quarter by quarter. The performance in Q4 is expected to roughly meet current market expectations.
