TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A Foodpanda customer who spent NT$4 (US$0.12) won the NT$10 million (US$313,000) Special Prize in the latest edition of the Taiwan receipt lottery.

On Sept. 25, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) reported the winning numbers for the July-August lottery round. The winning number for the Special Prize was 38039158, the winning number for the NT$2 million Grand Prize was 08276859, and the three winning numbers for the First Prize were 32110911, 84289408, and 13446901.

The MOF on Tuesday (Oct. 1) released the full list of winners for the July-August draw of the receipt lottery. The latest edition includes 17 Special Prize winners and 15 Grand Prize recipients.

Of the Special Prize winners, five spent less than NT$100. The lucky consumer who spent the least and won the most was a Foodpanda customer who received an NT$4 platform fee invoice.

The second luckiest winner spent NT$33 on an app on the Apple Store in Taiwan.

Third place was a tie between two consumers who won the NT$10 million prize by purchasing bread and Oreos for NT$35 each at 7-Eleven and FamilyMart, respectively.
