TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – American pop rock band Maroon 5 announced on Monday (Sept. 9) a seven-date Asian tour that will conclude with a performance in Kaohsiung on Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14, 2025.
The announcement came on the heels of a two-date performance by Bruno Mars at Kaohsiung National Stadium (Sept. 7-8), which drew an estimated 157,000 fans. The large turnout and efficient public transportation have encouraged concert organizers to program more events in Kaohsiung.
Maroon 5 is the first Western rock band to perform at Kaohsiung National Stadium on two tours. The first Maroon 5 performance was on March 5, 2019, per UDN.
Taiwan fans have waited for six years to hear hit songs like “This Love," “One More Night," and “Don’t Wanna Know.” The band is led by Adam Levine, who has made several TV appearances and international tours.
Maroon 5 decided to end their Asian tour in Kaohsiung on February 14, 2025, as a romantic way for people to spend Valentine’s Day. The band’s Asian tour includes dates in Manila, Jakarta, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Kuala Lumpur.
The concert is organized by Live Nation Taiwan, with members given early access to tickets from 1 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Monday (Sept. 16) at www.livenation.com.tw. Ticketing will also be available on Tixcraft from 1 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 18).
