TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The nomination party for the 59th Golden Bell Awards for radio broadcasting took place at Nuzone in Taipei on Wednesday (Sept. 4).
A total of 434 companies and 1,347 works participated in the 59th Golden Bell Awards for radio broadcasting. The awards feature 30 categories, including program, individual, podcast, advertisement, radio brand marketing innovation, and innovative research and application.
The awards have added four new podcast categories to reflect the industry's growing focus on podcasting. After two months, 143 finalists were selected.
Veteran radio personality Wang Yu-jen (王裕仁) chaired the judging committee this year. Ni Pei-pei (倪蓓蓓) chaired the special award committee, which honored Chang Mao-lung (張茂隆) with a special contribution award.
The 59th Golden Bell Awards ceremony will be held at the Taipei Pop Music Center at 7 pm. Oct. 12. The ceremony will be broadcast live on two of Sanlih’s channels.
Overseas viewers can watch the ceremony live on Sanlih. Additionally, the ceremony will be streamed live on various online platforms, including the Golden Bell Awards website and its YouTube channel, the Ministry of Culture's Facebook, Line TV, and more.
