TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — CHT Security held an investors' conference on Tuesday (Aug. 13) announcing it will list on Taiwan’s OTC market on Aug. 20 with the stock number 7765 and a subscription price of NT$220 (US$6.82) per share, with Yuanta Securities as the lead underwriter.
Founded in 2017, the company is a subsidiary of Chunghwa Telecom, specializing in providing cybersecurity services. Currently, the company offers services to over 300 large-sized enterprises, more than 40,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and 1 million individual and household clients.
As a leading cybersecurity provider in Taiwan, the company has capital of NT$363 million. Since its establishment, the company has consistently turned a profit, with annual revenue and profits growing by 20–30%.
In 2023, CHT Security's revenue was NT$1.696 billion, with a pre-tax profit of NT$339 million and earnings per share of NT$7.8. For the first half of this year, revenue reached NT$856 million, with a net profit of NT$193 million and net earnings per share of NT$5.35, reflecting continued revenue and profit growth.
The company’s clientele includes government agencies, financial institutions, high-tech companies, healthcare, retail, and critical infrastructure sectors. The company holds significant international certifications: ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 20000, ISO 17025, and IEC 62443 CBTL.
The company’s Security Operations Center (SOC) solutions and in-house products include SecuTex NP/ED and CypherCom end-to-end encryption communication, which won the Computex “Best Choice Award” for three consecutive years, demonstrating the company’s service quality. The company also received the Cabinet’s highest 5A rating for cybersecurity services for the fifth consecutive year.
Looking ahead, CHT Security plans to invest in emerging technology. This includes leveraging AI and cloud technologies to enhance cybersecurity for clients, including exploring new areas such as low-Earth orbit satellites and drones.
CHT Security also seeks to develop proprietary products to boost international competitiveness in new markets, such as Southeast Asia. By partnering with CHT's overseas subsidiaries, it aims to become a globally recognized cybersecurity brand serving international clients.
