TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwanese TV host Mickey Huang (黃子佼) was found to possess pornographic images of 41 more minors.
In May, Huang was indicted by prosecutors for violating the Child and Youth Sexual Exploitation Prevention Act (兒童及少年性剝削防制條例) by allegedly purchasing sexually explicit images of underage girls. During a private session of the Taipei District Court on Monday (Aug. 12), prosecutors presented evidence that Huang possessed pornographic images of an additional 41 underage individuals, which has been transferred to the Taipei District Court for further investigation, per CNA.
According to the indictment, Huang joined an online forum called “Creative Private Room” (創意私房) on February 12, 2014, where he purchased and viewed sexually explicit videos and images of minors. Starting from February 17, 2023, he stored these images, which included explicit content of underage girls' exposed breasts and genitals, as well as images depicting sexual acts, on an external hard drive.
During the investigation of Huang's case, which includes charges of forceable indecent assault (強制猥褻罪), prosecutors discovered multiple sexual images of females on a hard drive seized during a search. At that time, they identified seven of the girls as underage and, in May, indicted Huang for possessing pornographic images of minors.
The Taipei District Court held its first hearing on the case in July, which lasted about two hours. The court determined that further investigation was necessary, so the trial did not conclude that day. The next hearing was held on Monday at 4 p.m.
