TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — After the winning numbers for the receipt invoice lottery were posted for May and June on Thursday (July 25), several companies have come forward to announce the prize-winning purchases made at their stores.
For May and June, the shopper who spent the least and won the most was a PX Mart customer who used membership points to pay for NT$144 of a NT$154 purchase, only spending NT$10 in cash, and ending up with the receipt for a NT$10 million (US$305,000) special prize, reported Yahoo news.
Two customers at Family Mart and a Momo app user also spent less than NT$50 each to receive the special NT$10 million prize-winning invoices.
PX Mart
One lucky customer at the Zhongshan store in Yunlin’s Mailiao Township won the NT$10 million special prize with a purchase of NT$154 on coffee and other drinks. Incredibly, they used membership points to pay for NT$144 of the purchase, meaning they only paid NT$10 to win the special prize.
Another PX Mart customer won the NT$2 million grand prize with a purchase made at the Alian District’s Minzu PX Mart location in Kaohsiung. That lucky customer spent only NT$166 on fresh milk.
Momo
Another lucky customer of the online shopping app Momo spent only NT$37 on a set of coupons for a chain fast food restaurant. This small online purchase ended up with the winning receipt numbers for a NT$10 million grand prize, per reports.
Family Mart
Family Mart announced that two customers won the NT$10 million special prize, both with purchases of less than NT$100. One person spent NT$21 on coffee at the Fuli store in Changhua’s Fuxing Township, and another spent NT$35 on tea at the Lungshou store in New Taipei’s Guishan District, reported UDN.
Another Family Mart customer won the NT$2 million grand prize with a purchase on NT$165 of coffee and other food items at Family Mart’s Youshih store in Taichung’s Dajia District. Additionally, a Family Mart customer won the NT$1 million prize for the cloud invoice lottery after purchasing NT$232 worth of fresh food.
7-Eleven
The 7-Eleven company announced one NT$10 million special prize winner for this round of the receipt lottery. The customer spent NT$125 on daily necessities at the Zhengchun store in Taoyuan’s Zhongli District, reported Mirror Media.
7-Eleven also announced that five of its customers had the winning numbers for the NT$2 million grand prize. Two of the NT$2 million prize-winning purchases were reported in New Taipei’s Xinzhuang District. One was NT$92 spent on fresh milk at the Longan store, and the other was NT$42 spent on fresh food at the Zhuanglong store.
Another winner in New Taipei spent NT$69 on tea and snacks at the Tingliao store in Tucheng District. The other NT$2 million grand prize-winning purchases were in Kaohsiung, and they include. One was a NT$35 purchase of bread at the Xinfengsong store in Niaosong District, and the other a NT$220 purchase of daily necessities at the Xiaohe store in Nanzi District.
An additional eight 7-Eleven customers had winning numbers for the NT$1 million cloud invoice prize.
