TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Work and classes will be canceled on Wednesday (July 24) in most parts of Taiwan as Typhoon Gaemi arrives, local governments said on Tuesday (July 23) evening.
Work and classes in Taipei, New Taipei, Keelung, Taoyuan, Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua, Yunlin, Nantou, Chaiyi City, Chaiyi County, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, Yilan, Hualien, Taitung, Penghu, and Matsu Islands will be canceled, per the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration.
Work and classes in Kinmen will continue as normal.
