TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Five NT$10 million (US$307,000) Special Prize winners have yet to redeem their receipts for the latest edition of the Taiwan receipt lottery, and there are still three unclaimed from the January-February draw.
The Ministry of Finance (MOF) on Thursday (July 4) said there are still five unclaimed Special Prizes and five unclaimed NT$2 million Grand Prizes from the March-April round, per CNA. People must redeem their winning receipts before Sept. 5.
The lucky Special Prize winner who spent the least and won the most bought a drink for NT$26 at a TSC Million convenience store on Zhongming South Road in Taichung's West District. The next-luckiest winner was issued an Uber Eats receipt for NT$34.
A customer at the 7-Eleven on Youchang Street in Kaohsiung's Nanzih District won the Special Prize after buying a drink for NT$51. Another winner spent NT$65 on food at the Carrefour on Xuefu Road in New Taipei City's Tucheng District.
The Special Prize recipient who spent the most was a motorist who spent NT$1,224 on gasoline and other items at the CPC Corporation gas station on Zhongzheng Road in Yunlin County's Kouhu Township.
The five unclaimed Grand Prizes include an NT$43 Food Panda invoice, an NT$85 receipt for tobacco products issued at a Hi-Life on Wenhua Road in Chiayi's West District, and an NT$599 telecom fee from Taiwan Mobile. The other Grand Prize winners included a shopper who spent NT$641 on food at a PX Mart on Dongshan Road in Yilan County's Dongshan Township and a Taiwan Taxi Co. passenger who was issued an NT$1,178 invoice at its corporate office on Binjiang Street in Taipei's Zhongshan District.
In addition, three unclaimed Special Prizes and five unclaimed NT$2 million Grand Prizes from the January-February round remain. Winners must redeem their invoices before Friday (July 5).
