TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Police are investigating the deaths of two children who are believed to have drowned in New Taipei’s Xindian District on July 2 (Tuesday).
CNA reported on Thursday (July 4) that a woman allegedly took her daughters to the Bitan Scenic Area and jumped into the Xindian River with them following a family dispute. The woman was reportedly able to swim to shore, and the children drowned.
