TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The home of Taiwan actor Mike Ho (賀軍翔) was raided by law enforcement officers on Friday (May 24) to secure evidence in an ongoing criminal case involving the celebrity.
The Taipei District Prosecutors Office instructed Songshan District police to conduct the search. There were no arrests or interrogations but police seized mobile phones and other items as evidence, reported LTN.
Police released a statement saying the case is ongoing so they cannot discuss details ahead of the trial.
Reports indicate the raid is most likely related to Ho’s actions at a nightclub in Taipei in May 2023. At that time, celebrity photojournalist Ryan Ho (葛斯齊) revealed Ho’s sexual involvement with a female employee of the club.
Ho allegedly coerced her to have sexual relations. After a police investigation, the actor was charged with violating the victim’s sexual autonomy, per ET Today.
