TAIPEI (Taiwan News) -- Reddit user Kidult Kingdom posted this photo of postcards he had collected from a Uniqlo store in Taipei and soon generated excitement among fans of the classic video game Street Fighter.
On April 15, Uniqlo Taiwan began offering a promotion in which those who purchase a T-shirt with the characters from the Capcom video game Street Fighter will receive a free pack of postcards with assorted characters from the game. The promotion is exclusive to Taiwan and will apparently only last one month.
The photographer said that he spotted a sign for the promotion at a Uniqlo store in Taipei's Ximending (西門店, 10842 台北市萬華區漢中街52號B2-4F) while shopping in the area over Easter weekend last month. On Tuesday, he posted a photo of the postcards on the Street Fighter subreddit, and within 48 hours had received 388 upvotes and 35 comments.
