UN chief says Myanmar should free Aung San Suu Kyi

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon says Myanmar's military government should release all of its political prisoners, including opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
Ban spoke Tuesday at a news conference in Tokyo. He will visit Myanmar on Friday and Saturday.
The pro-democracy leader Suu Kyi is in Myanmar's Insein prison. She is being tried on charges of violating the terms of her house arrest after an uninvited American man swam to her closely guarded lakeside home in Yangon in May.
The 64-year-old Nobel Peace laureate has spent more than 13 of the past 19 years in detention without trial, mostly under house arrest.
