First swine flu fatality in Spain

Spain's Health Ministry is reporting the country's first death from swine flu.
It says the victim who died Tuesday is a 20-year-old Moroccan woman who had a history of asthma. It says in a statement that she died of a respiratory disease caused by swine flu.
She was 28 weeks pregnant and doctors performed a Cesarean section on Monday. The ministry says the baby is healthy.
The woman was hospitalized in Madrid on June 15.
The ministry says Spain has 717 confirmed cases of swine flu, a big jump from the 541 reported on Friday. Spain usually updates its figure once a week.
