Ousted Honduran president to address UN assembly

The ousted president of Honduras will address the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday.
Manuel Zelaya plans to appear before the world body at 11 a.m. (1500 GMT), a U.N. official confirmed.
Enrique Yeves, a spokesman for Assembly President Miguel D'Escoto Brockmann, also said Honduran diplomats may propose a resolution expressing support for Zelaya as the democratically elected president.
Zelaya was forced into exile in Costa Rica after soldiers stormed his palace early Sunday morning.
