Brazil's strategic affairs minister to step down

Brazil's strategic affairs minister is stepping down to resume teaching at Harvard.
Roberto Mangabeira Unger joined Silva's cabinet in June 2007 after taking a two-year leave of absence from Harvard Law School where he once taught President Barak Obama.
Unger focused much of his efforts in the Cabinet of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on the sustainable development of the Amazon rain forest and the revival of Brazil's weapons industry.
The official Agencia Brasil news agency quoted Silva on Monday as saying that Unger was returning to Harvard, "but I don't know when."
The news agency said that Harvard Law School did not want to extend Unger's leave.
Unger's office would not comment.
