India's foreign minister is visiting the Czech capital for talks with EU officials on fighting terrorism and drafting a free-trade agreement.
The Czech EU presidency says Monday's talks with India's Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna will also include discussions on a maritime agreement, energy and human rights issues.
The EU is being represented at the meeting by Czech Foreign Minister Jan Kohout, whose country holds the 27-nation bloc's rotating presidency.
EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana and the EU foreign relations commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner are taking part.
