Tipsarevic sets up match with Djokovic in Belgrade

Janko Tipsarevic beat Sergio Roitman of Argentina 7-5, 6-2 Tuesday to set up a meeting with home favorite Novak Djokovic in the second round of the Serbia Open, the country's first ATP Tour tournament.
Djokovic, whose family helped bring the tournament to Belgrade this year after buying the license to the ABM Amro Open, is the top seed and had a first-round bye.
"Nobody likes to play against a friend," said Tipsarevic, a fellow Serb, adding that he hoped for equal support from the crowd.
Most of the first round was rained out on Monday, with Christophe Rochus returning to the court Tuesday to complete a 6-3, 6-7(7), 7-5 win over Nicolas Devilder of France.
The other seeds in action also advanced.
Fifth-seeded Viktor Troicki of Serbia rallied to beat Sam Querrey of the United States 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, No. 6 Ivan Ljubicic of Croatia ousted Romania's Victor Crivoi 7-6 (2), 3-6, 6-4 and No. 7 Arnaud Clement of France beat Santiago Ventura, Spain, 6-1, 6-4.
