Labor leader killed in Venezuela

Authorities are investigating the slaying of a union leader at a Toyota car assembly plant in Venezuela.
Justice Minister Tareck El Aissami says Argenis Vasquez was gunned down Monday outside his home in the eastern city of Cumana.
El Aissami says forensic experts are investigating, but no suspects have been identified.
Vasquez, who led a monthlong strike that paralyzed the Toyota plant last year, is the fourth Venezuelan union leader killed in less than six months.
Three other labor leaders were gunned down by unidentified assailants on Nov. 27. Authorities believe they were hired killings.
