Prince Tagoe scored twice in the first half Tuesday to help Saudi Arabian club Ettifaq beat Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan 4-0 to secure a place in the Asian Champions League's second round.
Saleh Bashar and Waleed Al Raja also scored for Ettifaq at Prince Mohammed bin Fahad Stadium.
Ettifaq gave his team the lead in the 16th with a well-placed shot, and made it 2-0 in the 38th. Bashar added the third three minutes into the second-half, and Al Raja completed the rout in the 82nd.
Ettifaq leads Group D with 12 points after five games, while Bunyodkor is second on seven. Al Shabab is last despite beating third-place Foolad Sepahan of Iran 2-1 in Dubai earlier Tuesday.
The top two teams from each group qualify for the knockout stage, which begins May 27.
