Urawa moves into first place in J-League

Substitute Sergio Escudero scored late in the second half Tuesday as the Urawa Reds went top of the J-League standings with a 3-2 win over Kashiwa Reysol.
Brazilian striker Edmilson put Urawa in front after 12 minutes but Kashiwa fought back and took the lead through goals by Hideaki Kitajima and Naoki Ishikawa.
With five minutes left, an own goal by Kashiwa's Yuzo Kobayashi allowed Urawa to pull even and Escudero scored the winner three minutes from time when Masahiro Koga's clearance deflected off his chest and into the net.
Urawa, the only top-four team in action, improved to 23 points from 10 games, three clear of champions Kashima Antlers.
Kashima, Gamba Osaka, Nagoya Grampus and Kawasaki Frontale had games rescheduled due to involvement in the Asian Champions League.
In other matches, Gilsinho scored his second of the game from the penalty spot in the final seconds as Jubilo Iwata came from three goals down to earn a 3-3 draw with Albirex Niigata while Montedio Yamagata lost 3-1 to Vissel Kobe.
Kyoto Sanga snapped a four-match losing streak with Paulinho and Diego scoring in a 2-0 win against Yokohama F Marinos. Omiya Ardija prevailed 3-0 and handed Oita Trinita its seventh consecutive defeat.
Norwegian striker Frode Johnsen and Takuma Edamura both scored in the last nine minutes as Shimizu S-Pulse come from 2-0 down to draw with JEF United Chiba 2-2, while Hisato Sato scored his fifth goal of the season to help Sanfrecce Hiroshima beat FC Tokyo 2-0.
