Turkish media say at least 16 people have been killed and 20 others wounded in an attack on a wedding ceremony in the southeastern part of the country.
Cihan news agency says assailants with bombs and automatic weapons attacked the wedding ceremony in Sultansehmuz village, near the city of Mardin, on Monday night. It says the wounded were taken to a hospital in Mardin and the city's police chief has visited them.

It is not clear who carried out the attack.
