San Want Hotel's Chaw Ping Ji promotes its Dim Sum buffet with a luxurious bonus, lobster au gratin.
From the present day to June 30, guests can pay NT$99 in addition to the cost of Dim Sum buffet and get a serving of lobster au gratin. Lobster au gratin usually goes with fancy set meals and is worth NT$700.
Chaw Ping Ji is famous for classic Chao Chow cuisine mainly for the marinade brought from Hong Kong by the executive chef Ho Ping-mu. Among the selection Ho offers, Marinated Goose Slices is what makes him proud to present, therefore it is a must-try at the restaurant.
Popular dishes include other dishes such as Pan-fried Turnipcake, Sauteed Rice Roll with XO Chili Sauce, Steamed Dumpling in Chao Chow Style, Fried Shrimpcake with Taro Paste, Chao Chow Style Porridge with diced fish.
When you dine in Chaw Ping Ji, save some extra space in the stomach for the dessert is necessary. Mungbean Soup, Redbean Cake made with coconut juice, and Sago Sweet Soup are choices of sweet you don't want to miss.
Chaw Ping Ji's Dim Sum buffet is priced at NT$699 for lunch and NT$799 for dinner during weekdays, and NT$799 for both lunch and dinner during weekends. The above prices are subject to a 10% service charge.
