Blast kills Somali security official, 3 soldiers

Police say a roadside bomb has killed a senior Somali security official and three government soldiers.
Police spokesman Abdullahi Hassan Barise said the remote-controlled explosion Wednesday ripped through the men's car in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
Among those killed was Ubeyd Ali Fidow, who worked as a bodyguard for the prime minister.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast. Mogadishu is one of the most violent cities in the world.
Islamist militants are fighting the government and African Union peacekeepers for control. The country has been in chaos for nearly 20 years.
