Dep. Quito down Estudiantes in Copa Libertadores

Goals were at a premium in the Copa Libertadores on Tuesday, with Ecuador's Deportivo Quito the only winner, edging Argentina's Estudiantes 1-0.
In the other games, Universitario of Peru had a 0-0 home draw against Mexico's San Luis, while the all-Colombian clash between Independiente Medellin and America de Cali ended 1-1.
Deportivo's win over Estudiantes saw them leapfrog the Argentine club into second spot at the halfway point of Group 5 play.
Colombian striker Leider Preciado snatched the 86th minute winner after latching on to a pass prodded through the Estudiantes rearguard by Mauricio Donoso.
Deportivo deserved the three points, harrying Estudiantes and nullifying inspirational captain Juan Sebastian Veron.
Full-backs Franklin Corozo and Isaac Mina raided down both flanks to put Estudiantes under pressure, and the introduction of Argentine forward Martin Mandra giving the hosts further attacking options in the second half.
Estudiantes looked to have done enough to secure a point until Preciado took advantage of poor positioning from Estudiantes defender Juan Diaz to beat the offside trap and fire home the winner.
Estudiantes has struggled in 2009, siting third from bottom in the Argentine league with four draws and a loss from five games played. That poor form has spilt into the Libertadores, with a win against Bolivia's Universitario de Sucre sandwiched between two losses.
Deportivo, having seen city rivals LDU Quito win last year's tournament, are unbeaten in three games. Their tally of five points put them two behind group leaders Cruzeiro of Brazil. Estudiantes has three, two ahead of Universitario.
