NZ wins toss, bats in 4th ODI

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth one-day cricket international against India at Seddon Park on Wednesday.
Captain Daniel Vettori returned to the New Zealand lineup after missing the third match at Christchurch, where India won by 58 runs, to attend the birth of his first child.
"We wanted to bat first in the last couple of games but couldn't because of the toss," Vettori said.
"It looks a good wicket, a small ground. We hope we can change things up and put a good total on the board."
Vettori replaced Jeetan Patel in the New Zealand side while Ewen Thompson replaced Ian Butler and Iain O'Brien replaced Tim Southee in a changed bowling lineup.
Ishant Sharma returned from injury to displace Munaf Patel in the Indian team which has a 2-0 lead in the series, while Rohit Sharma replaced Sachin Tendulkar who was not available because of injury.
"It's a bit different, the first time in the series we've had to chase runs," Indian captain M.S.Dhoni said.
"It's tricky for New Zealand. They don't really know what target to set and out batsman have scored heaps of runs in the series so far."
