Officials report riot at Lebanon's largest prison

Security officials say some inmates at Lebanon's largest prison have started a riot and set their clothes on fire.
It's unclear whether there are casualties in Tuesday's rioting.
The officials say police reinforcements have been sent to Roumieh prison east of Beirut to put the situation under control. The prison was build to house 1,000 prisoners but today has more than 3,000.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to the media.
Prison riots are not uncommon in Lebanon. Inmates often demand better conditions and reduced sentences.
Last year, dozens rioted in Roumieh, taking seven policemen hostages. Prisoners also rioted in a north Lebanon prison in January. Both incidents ended without casualties.
