Taipei, March 10 (CNA) The U.S. dollar lost ground against the New Taiwan dollar on the Taipei Foreign Exchange Tuesday, falling NT$0.215 to close at NT$34.600.
A total of US$1.21 billion changed hands during the day's trading.
The U.S. currency opened at NT$34.815 and fluctuated between NT$34.540 and NT$34.870.
