Army: Training blast may have sparked Colo. fire

The Army says a wildfire burning more than 10 square miles on Fort Carson in Colorado may have been sparked by a training explosion.
Fort spokeswoman Karen Connelly said Wednesday that the detonation of less than a quarter stick of the military explosive C-4 in a rock quarry may have caused the fire. The blaze started Tuesday in a training area on the base near Colorado Springs.
It is about 10 percent contained. No structures have been destroyed and no injuries have been reported.
