The Indy Racing League will hold preseason tests for its IndyCar and Firestone Indy Lights series next month at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida and in March at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama.
The tests at the 1.5-mile (2.4-kilometer) Homestead oval track will be from Feb. 23-25; the tests on the 16-turn, 2.4-mile (3.9-kilometer) Barber road course will be from March 21-23.
The season begins on April 5 at St. Petersburg, Florida.
