PM: Ethiopia completes pull out from Mogadishu

Somalia's prime minister says the last Ethiopian troops backing his fragile government have left the Somali capital.
Prime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein says Mogadishu is safe. The premier has also urged government troops and Islamist groups in the capital to work together.
Ethiopians troops withdrew from Mogadishu in the early hours of Thursday and a mixture of Islamist forces took control of the bases the Ethiopians vacated. No fighting was reported between the different Islamist groups.
The Somali government called in the Ethiopians two years ago to oust an umbrella Islamic group that had controlled southern Somalia and the capital for six months. But Mogadishu residents resented their presence.
