Swiss bank UBS says it is cooperating with probe

Swiss bank UBS says it is cooperating with the investigation into a former executive who was declared a fugitive from justice by a federal judge.
UBS said an e-mail statement on Wednesday that it continues to work towards a resolution of the case involving Raoul Weil. UBS says he was in charge of wealth management, but gave up his duties in November pending the outcome of the case.
The Fort Lauderdale judge on Tuesday signed the order declaring Weil a fugitive. He has been charged with conspiring to hide $20 billion in assets from the Internal Revenue Service by using secret, overseas accounts for thousands of wealthy customers.
His attorneys said Weil is still in Switzerland and has no plans to come to the U.S.
