Head Chef Chang Lin from Hotel Royal Hsinchu's Ming Court Cantonese Restaurant is invited by the Hsinchu County Government to specially prepare the "Chinese North Eastern Cuisine Special" in conjunction with a series of activities for the opening of the Home of Chang Hsueh-liang.
Chef Chang's concoction mainly consists of North Eastern and Hakka dishes, with 11 dishes to choose from, such as the North-Eastern pickled cabbage hot pot, beef wrap, mutton wrap, green onion Shaobing, Baihui noodles, Hakka delights, etc. To try these amazing delicacies, make your reservation 3 days beforehand. Each table (for 10 persons) starts from NT$8,800+10%.
Hotel Royal Hsinchu also sees the opportunity to launch the "Home of Chang Hsueh-liang Package Tour." Each room (inclusive of taxes and service charges) is priced at NT$4,500. From Decemger 12, 2008 to February 28, 2009, besides a night's accommodation and breakfast buffet for 2, the package tour also includes free shuttle service from the hotel to the Home of Chang Hsueh-liang in Wu-Feng village, and a free lunchbox. This promotion package is valid only for a Saturday hotel stay, and limited to 2 rooms. It is not available during the Lunar New Year holiday season.
